The rich and varied history of past time capsule projects can be a useful guide to those interested in making their own attempts to communicate across time.  I have advised several organizations on the planning of new time capsules.  I have also worked with organizations that are about to open past time capsules, offering guidance on how to promote and conduct the ceremony.
